Do you spend time keeping your yard beautiful? We want to recognize neighbors who go the extra mile to make their yard and curb attractive. The Yard of the Month committee will begin their search for the most beautiful yard in Greater Belhaven each month and select a winner. Keep your eyes peeled for the sign around the neighborhood! Winners will also be celebrated on our social media and in our newsletter!

Yards that are considered for the recognition meet the following criteria:

• Curbs, driveway, and walkways are edged and cleaned regularly
• Yard is mowed and edged regularly
• Flower beds are weeded, mulched, and shrubs are trimmed regularly
• Yard is free of debris and clutter
