The GBF Legislative Breakfast is an annual event where residents, businesses and elected officials are invited to gather and discuss upcoming priorities for the legislative session and share concerns and questions. This event serves as an essential bridge, building trust and transparency between residents and elected officials while empowering residents and businesses to voice their concerns and learn more about the legislative process. GBF board members greet attendees with a program agenda, name tags, and informational materials about the elected officials and the upcoming legislative session. At 8:45, GBF kicks off the event, welcoming everyone and briefly introducing the elected officials in attendance. Each official is given a few minutes to share updates on their priorities and key issues expected to arise in the legislative session. A structured period follows where residents can ask questions directly to the officials. The event concludes with thank-you remarks from GBF and an invitation for continued engagement through upcoming meetings or events.
