The GBF Neighborhood Cleanup Days see neighbors, businesses and neighborhood supporters come together for a community-wide day of cleaning streets, public spaces, and yards. These events encompass the entire Greater Belhaven footprint, from Riverside Drive to High Street, and from I-55 North to State Street. Some planned projects include picking up trash along major thoroughfares, clearing out street gutters in high traffic areas, cleaning up parks and trails, prepping neighborhood entrances for planting, and encouraging neighbors to spend time on their own yards and curbs.
We believe these annual Cleanup Day community events enhance the quality of life for Greater Belhaven residents, visitors, and businesses by not only improving the aesthetics of our community, but also fostering a sense of pride and unity among residents.
