Two Neighborhood Events Coming Up Soon

The Great Belhaven Fairy Hunt is back on!  Mark your calendars for the weekend of September 25th and if it rains no worries, go ahead and mark the weekend of October 2.  A map will be released closer to the date.  The houses will be in place by 3:00pm on Friday, September 25th and they will be collected at 8:00am Monday, September 28th.  This family friendly, socially distanced activity will take participants on a hunt for fun fairy houses all around Belhaven.

You will have all weekend to hunt and post your pics on Social Media tagging the Greater Belhaven Foundation and use #greatbelhavenfairyhunt to be entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to one of our amazing Greater Belhaven restaurants.

A huge thank you to our sponsors for making this possible:  Kats Wine & Spirits, Keifer’s Restaurant, Lou’s Full Serv, The Manship Wood Fired Kitchen, Spectrum Sip, Shoe Bird Café & Urban Foxes.  This also would not be possible without a grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission; thank you MAC!!

If you have your own fairy house you would like to hide in your yard, let me know by emailing ccreasey@greaterbelhaven.com and I will add you to the map!!

Pumpkins is the Park is scheduled for Saturday, October 3 beginning at 5:30pm at Belhaven Park, 1000 Poplar Blvd.  Pumpkins will look very different this year.  We are not allowed to have the movie or music BUT we can have a pumpkin patch!  There will be several pumpkins available to come pick from as well as decorating kits.  Come get a pumpkin and take home to decorate!!  Pumpkins and kits are free and they will be distributed to children on a first come first serve basis.  Limit one pumpkin per child.  Be sure to tag Greater Belhaven Foundation in your posts of your finished pumpkins on Social and use #pumpkinsinthepark to be entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to one of our amazing Greater Belhaven restaurants :
