Pumpkins in the Park will take place this Saturday, October 3 starting at 5:30pm in Belhaven Park located at 1000 Poplar Boulevard.
Pumpkins in the Park will be a little different this year. We can’t have our usual group decorating, music and a movie BUT we can have a socially distanced Pumpkin Patch in the Park! A huge thank you to Keifer’s Restaurant for making sure we have plenty of pumpkins to pick from. The patch will open at 5:30pm and remain open until all the pumpkins are claimed. We will also have prepackaged pumpkin decorating kits.
Since we can’t decorate in the Park as a big group and everyone loves to see each other’s pumpkins, let’s move the party to social media! Get home and decorate away then post your pumpkin on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and tag the Greater Belhaven Foundation and use the hashtag #pumpkinsinthepark to be entered in a drawing for a gift card to Keifer’s!
When you come on Saturday, please wear a mask. We will have the line marked at six feet apart. There are limited pumpkins so they are for the little ones only, with only one pumpkin per child.
This event is free and open to the public thanks to our sponsor Keifer’s Restaurant and a generous grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission.
